The Devil's Throat, at the Iguazú Falls, wrapped in spray under a cloudy sky

SAPC international extension from Paraguay · Argentina and Brazil

Iguazú

One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, experienced from two perspectives.

Not ticking a wonder off a list. Giving it time to overwhelm you.

Iguazú needs no artifice. It needs clever timings, an excellent guide, little hurry and a border you barely notice. Our job is to protect the impact of the place from queues, tiredness and an accumulation of activities.

That is why we present it as what it is: the great natural finale of your journey through eastern Paraguay, across the border. One side to feel the falls from within; the other to understand their scale.

Iguazú does not belong to Paraguay territorially. We present it honestly: as the great regional finale of the eastern axis, not as a Paraguayan destination.

Argentina and Brazil

Two viewpoints, not two boxes to tick

Argentina and Brazil serve different purposes. Rushing through both in a single day would waste them both.

Argentina

Immersion and closeness

Walkways, the Eco Train and the Devil's Throat when it is open. An almost full day with a naturalist guide who chooses circuits, pace and pauses according to the weather, the water flow and the crowds.

  • Open walkways and circuits
  • Eco Train
  • Devil's Throat, when available

Brazil

Perspective and the grand panorama

The overall view that lets you grasp the scale of the whole system of falls. Ideal as a half day or as a special-light experience, outside conventional hours.

  • The great panorama of the whole system of falls
  • Half a day, without rushing
  • Sunrise with early access, when the calendar allows
Half a day or special light

The day, step by step

How the day is lived

An order designed so that emotion arrives before information.

  1. 01

    Before setting out

Private transfer, paperwork checked and tickets bought in advance. The border is sorted before you step into the vehicle.

  2. 02

    The first contact

No long explanations. Reach the water and let the sound and the scale do the first work.

  3. 03

    The route

A naturalist guide who talks about the Atlantic Forest, water, wildlife and conservation, not only heights and flow rates. With deliberate pauses at the best points.

  4. 04

    The great moment

The Devil's Throat or the great Brazilian panorama, at the best possible moment and with time to stay. Never a five-minute photograph.

  5. 05

    The close

A quiet table and the return. No shopping or attractions added out of obligation: the experience ends at its height.

Special hours

Iguazú with less noise and a different light

We prefer special-hours experiences to adrenaline ones: they reduce the noise and change your relationship with the landscape.

Brazilian side

Sunrise with early access

Excellent for photography, with fewer visitors and a sense of privilege, without inventing exclusivity.

Limited places
Argentine side

Full Moon Walk

An extraordinary sensory experience, held only a few nights a month and dependent on the calendar, availability and the weather.

About five nights a month
Brazilian side

Sunset in Brazil

An interesting alternative if the sunrise schedule does not fit, provided the experience is still running on the specific date.

Depending on the date

Dates, places and conditions are reconfirmed before each departure. We do not promise water flow, rainbows or weather: only the best possible moment.

Formats

Three ways to experience Iguazú

Each format is a starting point. Pace, accommodation, table, language and companions are adjusted to you.

SAPC Iguazú

Essential

1 day

The Argentine side as the main experience: private transfer, early entry, naturalist guide, open circuits, the Devil's Throat when available, pauses and lunch.

If you have the timeSAPC Iguazú

Two Perspectives

1.5 to 2 days

Argentina in depth and Brazil as a panorama. Crossing borders without rushing and understanding the falls from within and from outside.

SAPC Iguazú

Special Light

Depending on the calendar

Sunrise on the Brazilian side, with early access and limited places, or the Full Moon Walk on the Argentine side, held only a few nights a month. Iguazú with less noise and a different light.

What about the boat rides?

The boat experiences close to the falls can be spectacular, but we do not include them automatically. They are offered only if you request them, after reviewing age, mobility, river conditions, safety and operator. The base experience works perfectly without adrenaline.

Times, circuits, places and special experiences are reconfirmed for each date.

The detail

The details you do not see

The difference between visiting Iguazú and experiencing it lies in what we sort out before you arrive.

Border prepared

Paperwork checked before departure, a driver who knows the crossing and enough time in hand.

Tickets in advance

Protected schedules, especially for experiences with limited places.

Naturalist guide

Interpretation of jungle, water and territory, not a purely logistical guide.

Light protection

Comfort against the spray and the rain, without the visit becoming uncomfortable.

Time for silence

Iguazú needs less speech and more presence.

A well-chosen hotel

If you stay overnight, accommodation that makes access to the park and rest easy.

Our standard

What you will never find on this journey

Our standard is also defined by what we give up.

  • Both Argentina and Brazil in a single day.
  • An express excursion from Ciudad del Este, with border, falls and a return at full speed.
  • Stops at shops or duty free in the middle of the experience.
  • A succession of selfie spots with no time to observe.
  • Boat rides, helicopters or other adrenaline activities as a compulsory part of the package.
  • A purely logistical guide, when the place asks for jungle and territory to be interpreted.
  • Promises of water flow, rainbows or weather that no one can guarantee.

The eastern axis

The thread of the east

  1. ItaipúThe energy of water
  2. Monday FallsWater in its natural state
  3. IguazúThe monumental scale

First, the force of water turned into energy. Then, the Paraguayan nature of the Monday. Finally, the monumental scale of Iguazú. We prefer to cross calmly the afternoon before and visit the falls early and rested.

Iguazú does not need more activities. It needs better time.
